Walk and Talk Counselling
Sometimes it can feel easier to talk while moving. Walk and talk counselling takes our sessions outdoors, where gentle movement and fresh air can help reduce stress and bring a sense of connection. Walking side by side often feels more relaxed than sitting across from someone, making it a natural way to share what’s on your mind while connecting with both nature and yourself.
Anxiety & Stress
Anxiety and Stress tend to appear when there is something important at stake. They show how much you care, how much you are paying attention, or how heavy the responsibilities and pressure have become. Together we can explore those responses in ways that you feel heard and respected.
Depression & Sadness
Feeling disconnected, sad, or low are often normal responses to experiences of injustice, when there has been an affront to dignity or it have been overlooked. Rather seeings these as a problem within you, we can discuss your values and and hopes as a way to reconnect with how you make meaning of life.
Experiences of Violence and Trauma
Experiences of trauma or violence can leave a lasting effect on how people think, feel, and move through the world. Responses such as being hyper-aware, numbness, self-blame are not a sign of weakness, but are the creative ways your body and mind protect you and your loved ones. We will move at a place that feels comfortable for you to discuss the unique ways that you have responded in difficult and harmful circumstances.
Grief and Loss
Grief is a reflection of love and the bonds that matter most. In counselling we can create a space to re-member those that we have lost as a way to honour your connections and navigate loss in a way that feels right for you.
Relationship and Family Challenges
Relationship challenges often come from a desire for mutual respect, care, and fairness. Counselling can help create a supportive space to explore these challenges and increase your connections.
