Our Team
Kalie McIntosh, BA, MACP, RCC, RP
Hi, I’m Kalie (she/her). I am a counsellor offering online and telephone sessions in Ontario, British Columbia, and the Yukon. I work with individuals of all ages—including children and youth—as well as couples and families. Since 2019, I’ve been supporting people in their growth, and I also provide supervision for students and other professionals. My background includes over a decade of frontline work in non-profits, where I supported people through outreach programs, housing services, and victim services.
My practice is rooted in dignity—the understanding that every person holds inherent worth, even when that worth is overlooked or undermined. By centering dignity, conversations shift away from seeing people as problems to be fixed, and toward recognizing how we resist and respond to harms against our humanity. My goal is to create a space where people feel seen, respected, and supported as they move through life’s challenges.
I draw on response-based practice, narrative therapy, systemic family therapy, dignity-informed and feminist approaches, along with expressive therapies. Grounded in social justice values, I work collaboratively with clients to honour their strengths, wisdom, and capacity for change.
